Built by: Alfred Kern & fils (1982)


The choir organ of the cathedral of Besançon was completed in 1982 by the firm Alfred Kern from Strasbourg. Pipework was used in the construction, originating from the demolished main organ of the church. This pipework was made by Riepp (1763), Callinet (1830) and Verschneider (1866).
