De parochiekerk van Saint Godric in Durham is in 1986 grotendeels uitgebrand. Hierbij ging het orgel verloren. Dit instrument was in 1979 door H.E. Prested omgebouwd. Na de herbouw van de kerk is door dezelfde bouwer een tweedehands orgel geplaatst, afkomstig uit de kerk van Saint Patrick in Sunderland. Het is gebouwd door William Sewell.
