  • The Liebfrauenkirche in Jüterbog has been dedicated in 1174. The church was a cloister church for three centuries. After the Reformation it was taken into use as a protestant church. Joachim Wagner built an organ for the church in 1737 with one manual and an independent pedal.
  • Gustav Albert Friedrich renovated the instrument in 1891. He added a Salicional 8' and constructed a pedal coupler. The prospect pipes were removed in 1917 and replace around 1920 by new pipes from zinc. The instrument has had some restoration work done in 1938 and 1974 by the firm of Alexander Schuke. In 1938 some modifications were carried out in the stop list. The Quinte 1 1/3' was renewed, the Tertia was replace by a Waldflöte 2', the Posaune of the Pedal was renewed (construction by Giesecke) and the wooden pipes of the Gedackt (Manual) and Oktave (Pedal) in the lowest octave were renewed.
  • In 2017 Karl Schuke Orgelbauwerkstatt reconstructed the original concept, removing and reneweing everything added or replaced in 1891 and 1938, and also installing new prospect pipes of tin. All new pipes are made following examples of still existing organs of Wagner.
