- The organ in the Nikolaikirche in Luckau was constructed in 1672-1673 by Christoph Donati. The instrument was examined on January 8, 1674 by three organists. But in short time some problems occurred with the a wind chest and the bellows. Donati renewed some parts in 1677, and after these works, the organ was examined again by the organ builder Christoph Junge and organist Johann Friedrich Alberti, both from Merseburg. From this instrument only the organ case and some pipework have been preserved.
- In 1873, a new organ was built in the old cases by Friedrich Hermann Lütkemüller. The original positive organ in the gallery was removed. But in the years 1958-1960 and 1977 a partial reconstruction has been carried out by Alexander Schuke in style of the work of Donati, using the original cases, pipes from both Donati and Lütkemüller and new materials. The Rückpositiv has also been rebuilt.
