- The organ cases of the church in Tating were built in 1591 (main case) and 1650 (positive). It is not known who made the instrument. The organ originally stood on a gallery on the north side of the church. In 1896 Emil Hansen built a new organ in the old cases. It was placed on a gallery on the west wall in 1929 during a restoration of the church interior. Hinrich Otto Paschen built a new organ in the cases in 1969. The old pipework still present was reused. The consultant was Alfred Dressel. Three stops were added in 1980.
- In 2007 the console was replaced by the Paschen company. The register action has been reconstructed mechanically. The organ was tuned to a Neidhardt temperature.
