- In 1721 Johann Christoph Leu or Leo built a new organ for the Sankt Ulrichskirche in Augsburg with 24 stops. The interior of this instrument was replaced in 1888 by a new organ by Steinmeyer with 22 stops. Ten ranks were taken from the old work, and the main case was used. The Rückpositiv stayed empty. Steinmeyer built another new organ in 1927, with three manuals and 38 stops. Max Offner converted this organ in 1961. The Rückpositiv was filled again by him. However, the instrument was replaced in 1977 by a new Klais organ in the historic organ cases. 23 stops were taken over from the old organ.
- In 2006 the organ was removed from the church in connection with a restoration of the church building. The Klais company re-installed the instrument in 2007. A new Setzer installation was installed, replacing the original eight combinations.
