  • The organ of the Andreaskirche in Augsburg is an old instrument, which was built in 1737 for the 'Hospitalkirche zum Heiligen Geist' by Georg Friedrich Schmahl (I). The organ was extended or renewed by Schmahl in 1754. In 1815 the organ was moved within the church building due to a reduction of the building size. Josef Mühlbauer overhauled it in 1907. Due to war damage, it was no longer usable since 1945.
  • In 1967 the organ was bought for the new Andreaskirche. Rudolf Kubak restored the instrument and transferred it. He replaced the Quinte 1 1/3' of the manual with a Cymbel and the pedal was expanded with a Posaune 8'. In 1996 the organ was again restored by Rudolf Kubak Orgelbau. The pipework is tuned in a Kirnberger III temperament.
