2002 Eisenbarth Orgelbau355 new organ in old case

  • The company Eisenbarth built a new organ for the parish church of Altaussee. The instrument was dedicated on October 5, 2002 with a concert by Karl Dornegger. Eisenbarth used pipework and the organ case of the previous organ. The existing organ case was expanded by Eisenbarth with a new gallery positive, designed in the same style as the main case. The new organ has three manuals and pedal, with a total number of thirty stops.
  • The organ case in gothic revival style was constructed for a new organ of 1862. The instrument itself was replaced in 1895 with a new two-manual organ of the firm Mauracher. In 1983 the organ was overhauled by Anton Hocker. He moved the Spitzflöte 4' of the first manual to the second manual and removed the Dolce 4'. On the slide of the Spitzflöte, a Rohrflöte 4' was installed. The Principal 8', Gedackt 8' and Oktave 4' of the first manual were renewed by Hocker.
