In 2000, the Dobson company completed a new organ for the University of Delaware in Newark. The organ is placed in a former church building, the Episcopal Church of Saint Thomas from 1845, which is diagonally opposite the campus. The building has been renovated and renamed Bayard Sharp Hall. David Herman was the consultant for the construction of the organ. The organ was named Edward and Naomi Jefferson Pipe Organ.
