Built by: G.F. Steinmeyer und Co. (1893) - opus 490
In 1893 voltooide de firma Steinmeyer een nieuw tweeklaviers orgel voor de Sankt Peter und Paul-Kirche in Oberammergau. Het werd geplaatst in de barokke orgelkas uit de jaren 1759-1785. De rugwerkkas bleef leeg. Het orgel was een geschenk van een aantal, met name Engelse, bezoekers aan de Passiespelen. In 1931 voerde firma Zeilhuber een restauratie uit. Daarbij is de dispositie gewijzigd. Een laatste restauratie is in 1993 uitgevoerd door Steinmeyer. Er zijn daarbij nieuwe frontpijpen geplaatst. Ook is het orgel uitgebreid met een Rückpositiv.
