In 1942 the Steinmeyer company built an organ for the Melanchtonkirche in Nürnberg-Ziegelstein. This church was dedicated on the third Sunday of Advent in 1940. The building was designed by German Bestemeyer. The Steinmeyer organ was replaced in 1995 by a new organ from the Link company, but the Steinmeyer front was retained.
