  • In the church of Tjällmo is a positive from 1710, built by Isac Risberg. The organ was built as an interim organ for Uppsala Domkyrka. In 1741 it was transferred to Tjällmo by Gustaf Lagergren, an amateur organ maker from Östra Husby. In 1789 it was modified by Pehr Schiörlin. The next renovation was more radical. This work was carried out in 1869 by Anders Petter Kullbom. He replaced the mixtures with a Basun 16' and a Fugara 8'. The tone range was also changed by supplementing the pipework for C sharp major.
  • In 1926 the organ was dismantled and stored. Olof Hammarberg built a new organ in the old case with 22 stops. In the years 1967-1969 the old work was reconstructed by the firm Bröderna Moberg and the work of Hammarberg was demolished. The reconstruction was made possible thanks to a gift from Karin Kjellin. What is remarkable about the organ is that it contains a few sub-semi keys. These are keys for A-flat and B-flat in the major octave, and in the minor octave for D-sharp and E-flat, for G-sharp and A-flat and for A-flat and B-flat. Furthermore, Cis major is missing.
