The organ in the parish church of Achstetten was built by Link Orgelbau in 2001. The organ is placed in an old organ case, dating back to Johann David Späth. He built an organ in 1783 for the church of Plüderhausen. This organ was transferred to Achstetten in 1812. In 1891 the Gebr. Link built a new organ in the old case. The pipe work by Link has been partly reused by the firm Gebr. Späth in a new building in 1959-1960. The organ case was expanded with two pedal towers. Gregor Klaus was the advisor for this work. In 2001 the Link company built a whole new organ in the old cases with 21 stops. This organ was dedicated on July 29, 2001 with a concert by Volker Konstantin Unseld.
