In 1981 the company Reinisch-Pirchner built a new organ for the Sankt Ulrichkirche in Nals in South Tyrol. The organ is placed in an eighteenth-century organ case. This case was built in the years 1769-1772 by Ignaz Wörle for the old parish church 'Unser Lieben Frau' of Gries near Bozen. Also, some stops still contain old pipework. The original organ had 26 stops. The church in Gries was closed in 1788. During the 19th century, the organ was transferred to Nalles. The church in Nalles was consecrated in 1815. In 1908 the interior was replaced by a pneumatic organ with sixteen stops, built by Alois Fuetsch. He did not use the case of the positive organ.
