In the years 1677-1678 Carlo Prati built an organ for the Stiftskirche in Marienberg. After the construction of a new organ for the monastery in 1866, the particularly richly decorated front of this organ was transferred to the parish church of Burgeis. Josef Aigner built a new interior here in 1873-1874, which has been preserved to this day.
