In 2003 a historic Italian organ was placed on the choir of the Marktkirche in Hannover. It was built in 1780 by Fabrizio Cimino and resurrected its current build in 1996, with an overhaul by Giorgio Carrara. In 2007 the instrument was completely restored by Jörg Bente.
