In 1914-1915 a new church was built for the Mennonite community in Hamburg-Altona. The church was designed by Kurt Franke. The Steinmeyer company supplied the organ. The church building survived the Second World War without major damage. The organ was renovated around 1955 by Emanuel Kemper & Sohn.
