- In 1958 the Steinmeyer company built a new organ for the Schloßkirche in Bayreuth. The old organ, built by Ludwig Weineck in 1870, has been demolished. The new instrument got a facade with free-standing pipes. It had 30 stops on two manuals and pedal.
- The Steinmeyer organ served in Bayreuth until 1990, when it was demolished for new construction by Karl Schuke. The Steinmeyer organ has been sold to the Duomo di Militari in Padova. The Italian organ builder Livio Volpato has transferred it unaltered. Fiorella Benetti was the consultant for the work. On December 11, 1991 the organ was dedicated in Padova.
