The Rieger firm completed a new organ for the Erlöserkirche in Munich-Schwabing in 1990, placed on a gallery on the west side of the church. Construction consultants were Gerd Wachowski and Georg Pfeiffer. The front was designed by Raimund Glatter-Götz. Hubert Distler designed the painting. The organ has been placed in a different location in the church than Moser's old organ from 1938, which has been preserved. Rieger's organ was put into use on October 14, 1990.
