Het eerste orgel in Scots' Church in Melbourne werd in 1874 gebouwd door Lee & Kaye MacKenzie. Het had 37 stemmen, drie manualen en pedaal. In 1883 breidde de firma Hill & Son het uit met vier tongwerken. In 1910 is het door Geo Fincham omgebouwd en uitgebreid. Het orgel had nu 49 stemmen, vier manualen en pedaal. Er volgde in 1959 een nieuwe verbouwing, eveneens door Fincham, waarna het orgel 61 stemmen had. In februari 1999 is het instrument afgebroken en opgeslagen bij Wakely Pipe Organs. De firma Rieger leverde daarna een geheel nieuw orgel, maar de oude kassen zijn hergebruikt.
