- In 1836 Caspar and Conrad Embach completed a new organ for the Kirche Sankt-Peter in Diez. In 1917 the front pipes and the Trumpet 8' were handed in as war metal. The front was then decorated with some oil paintings, made by the pastor. New zinc front pipes were installed by the Hardt firm in 1933, but the paintings have also been preserved.
- The beautiful old prospect was lost in 1951. During a renovation of the church interior, the upper gallery, on which the organ stood, was demolished. The Kemper firm placed the organ on the lower gallery, but the front was replaced by an open pipe arrangement. Although plans were initially made for new construction, the organ was eventually restored by Gerald Woehl in 1978/1979 and returned to its original state. The old facadet has also been reconstructed on the basis of old design drawings.
