In 1954 Maurice Delmotte rebuilt the organ in the Église Saint-Nicolas of Baugnies. Most of the pipe work has been taken from the church's old organ, which dated from the nineteenth century. It was built in 1887 by François Joris, but he also used much older material. After a restoration by Georges Delmotte, the organ was put back into use on March 5, 1967 with a concert by E.P. Michelangelo Demey.
