  • In 1864 the firm of Walker & Sons built a new organ for Bury Saint Edmunds Cathedral. The instrument was rebuilt and expanded in 1914 by Norman & Beard. In 1970 a renovation by the Nicholson company has been carried out.
  • The organ was demolished after a last concert on January 5, 2010, after which the construction of a new organ was started.
