  • Professor L. Körber played a concert on February 17, 1949 on the new Steinmeyer organ of the Herz-Jesu-Kirche in Würzburg. This inaugural concert consisted of works by Bach, Reger and Widor. The organ has three manuals and free pedal, 53 stops and was equipped with electro-pneumatic action and Taschenladen.
  • The organ was restored by Steinmeyer in 1990. An electronic Setzer has been placed here. The organ's specification has never changed. On May 13, 1990, the organ was rededicated and Gregor Frede played the inaugurational concert. He played works by Stanley, Bach, Schumann, Brahms and Franck.
