In 1730 Franz Knoller completed a new organ for the Stadtpfarrkirche in his hometown of Sankt Veit an der Glan. The organ case was made by Johann Pacher. Several changes have been made over time. In 1929 the firm Dreher & Flamm built a new organ in the old case with pneumatic action. This instrument was replaced in 1977 by Rudolf Novak. He built a new mechanical organ with a neo-baroque specification. The organ was dedicated on November 20, 1977.
