The Église Saint-Folquin in Esquelbecq was hit by a major fire on April 11, 1976, during which the old organ was lost. After the church had been restored, Marc Garnier built a new organ in 1981-1982. It is a remarkable instrument, equipped with spring chests and tuned in a meantone temperament. The keys dis/es and gis/as of the first octave were duplicated. The organ was dedicated on June 27, 1982. It was played by André Isoir, who also was consultant during construction.
