- In 1910, the Austin Organ Company built a new organ for the John M. Greene Hall of Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. The organ was designed by H.D. Sleeper, head of the music department of the College. In 1915 it was expanded with an Echo Organ and an Antiphonal Organ.
- In 1998 the organ was seriously damaged as a result of flooding. The Austin Company restored the instrument in 2001. On this occasion it was also slightly modified and a new console was installed.
