Built by: Aegidius-Franciscus Van Peteghem (1795)
The old Van Peteghem organ from 1795 of the parish church in Nieuwkerken-Waas was thoroughly renovated in 1950 by the firm of Pels & Zn. Advisor was mr. R. Steppe, organist of the church. He came up with a new playing aid: the back sweller. This is used in this organ. The renewed organ was dedicated on June 10, 1951. It was played on this occasion by Alex Papen, organist of the cathedral in Antwerp.
