1856 Arnold Clerinx  new organ
1923 Gebroeders F. & A. Joris  modify stoplist
2002 Mark Nagels  restoration

  • The Église Saint-Gilles in Chaineux was dedicated in 1837. Arnold Clerinx built a pipe organ for this church in 1856. It is designed with the typical Clerinx-construction, where all the stops of the second manual, except the Violine 2' and Flageolet 1 1/3', are drawn on both manauals at once.
  • The organ was slightly modified, maybe in 1923 by Joris from Renaix. The Dolce 4' was changed to a Voix Céleste 8'. This was made undone during a restoration by Mark Nagels in 2002.
