In 1756 Dirk Lohman built a new organ for the Französisch Reformierte Kirche in Emden. In 1803 the organ was modified and expanded by Johann Friedrich Wenthin. After a merger of the church with the Deutsch Reformierte Kirche in 1897, the church building was closed. The organ found a new home in the Reformierte Kirche in Holßel. In 1962 the organ was restored by Max Maucher. In addition, an independent pedal was installed with a Subbas 16'. There was still one open place on the windchest of the manual. In 1994/1995 the organ was restored again by the Hillebrand company. Hillebrand restored the original attached pedal.
