- In 1777 Johann Geib delivered a new organ for the Klosterkirche in Lambrecht. Regular maintenance was carried out in the nineteenth century, but the instrument remained unchanged. In connection with a renovation of the interior of the church, it was dismantled in 1889 and rebuilt in 1892 by the Gebrüder Huber. They changed the stop list of the Rückpositiv by replacing two high ranks with Aeoline and Holzflöte. The pedal was expanded with Violonbaß 8' and Oktavbaß 4'. Furthermore, the manuals were renewed. On November 6, 1892, the organ was put back into use.
- The front pipes were removed in 1917. A wind motor was installed in 1924. The company Walcker restored it in 1949. The new registers of the Rückpositiv from 1892 were replaced by Walcker. On December 2, 1949, the organ could be put back into use.
- In 1976-1977 it was restored again by the Klais company. In this restoration, the original instrument has been reconstructed as well as possible. Only the extensions of the pedal from 1892 have remained. On November 13, 1977, the organ was put back into use with a concert by Hans Klotz.
