- Nadat een brand in 1982 de kapel van Blackrock College grotendeels had verwoest, bouwde men de kapel in oude stijl op. Kenneth Jones leverde in 1984 een nieuw orgel. Van het oude orgel, dat niet meer te herstellen was, zijn enkele pijpen opnieuw gebruikt. Adviseur bij de bouw waren Joseph Corless en Gerard Gillen. Vanaf 1994 werkte Trevor Crowe aan de intonatie van het instrument.
- In 2010-2011 is het door de firma Crowe gereviseerd. Daarbij is de dispositie uitgebreid, en zijn sub- en superoctaafkoppels toegevoegd voor Swell Organ. Op 2 oktober 2011 is het orgel weer in gebruik genomen met een concert door Rónán Murray.
