- In 1732 Gottfried Silbermann completed a new organ for the church of Crostau. The instrument was dedicated on November 5, 1732. The pedal was originally permanently linked to the manual. A pedal coupler was constructed in 1839. Carl Eduard Schubert restored the organ in the years 1860/1861, without changing anything. In 1868 the organ was dismantled and stored in connection with the construction of a new church. After this church was completed the instrument was installed here by Carl Eduard Schubert in 1870.
- In 1914 the Quinta 1 1/2' of the Hinterwerk was replaced by Johannes Jahn. In 1933, the pitch was changed by shifting all the mechanics two semitones, by Hermann Eule. A restoration was carried out in 1963-1964 by Eule, restoring the original stoplist. Finally, in 1981/1982 a thorough restoration was carried out, again by Eule, everything was reconstructed to the situation of 1839. The Quinta from 1963 has also been replaced by a new one. A new restoration has been carried out by Eule Orgelbau in 2016.
