In 1751 Johann georg Aichgasser built an organ for the Zisterzienserinnenkirche in Wald. The organ had sixteen stops and manuals with a short octave. It was placed in a beautiful baroque organ case. Around 1800 the organ was slightly expanded. The manual compass was increased to f''' and the pedal was expanded with two reed stops. In 1957 the organ was restored by Karl-Otto Mönch. He renewed the Gamba and expanded the pedal compass to C-d'. In 1977 the organ was restored by the company Mönch & Prachtel.
