- The organ in the Evangelische Kirche of Mössingen was built in 1820-1821 by Johann Jakob Weinmar. It has long been thought that the organ dates from 1733, and was built by Eberhard Vis(s)cher Sr. Visscher built the church's previous organ. This stood on a gallery on the tower side, the new organ was placed in the choir of the church. The Visscher organ was sold to the church in Marschalkenzimmern in 1820. The new organ had thirteen registers on one manual and pedal. In 1840, Johann Jakob Jr. replaced the Cornet with a Salicional.
- The front pipes were requisitioned in 1917. In 1920 new front pipes made of tin were installed. A wind motor was installed in 1922.
- Richard Rensch restored the organ in the years 1972-1974. Walter Supper was consultant. Because it fell under heritage protection, the historical material had to be returned to its original state. However, a more extensive disposition was needed, so Rensch added a Schwellwerk, extended the pedal to f' on a separate slide and arranged six stops of the Schwellwerk as transmissions on the pedal. Because the existing keyboard was not original, it had to be replaced by a new one.
