Het orgel van de Stadtpfarrkirche te Murau is gebouwd in 1698 door Joseph Meyenburg. Het werd in de jaren 1776-1787 door Ludwig Greß geheel omgebouwd en vernieuwd. In de loop van de tijd werd het orgel verschillende malen gereviseerd en ook is de dispositie gewijzigd. In 2004 voltooide Walter Vonbank een restauratie, waarbij het is teruggebracht in de toestand van 1787.
