- In 1751, the old organ of the Stiftskirche in Mariazell was bought for the church in Sankt Veit am Vogau. This instrument was made in 1689 by Johannes Liechtenauer. Christoph Egedacher is also referred to as the builder.
- In 1949, a restoration was carried out by Johann Krenn. He installed an electric blower. The organ was restored again by the company Kuhn in the years 1999-2002. On September 14, 2002 the organ was dedicated again.
