The organ contains older material: Organ case from ca. 1865 by John Clisbee & Son, Parts from 1888 by Johnson & Son

In 1992 the company B. Rule & Co. completed a new organ for the West Parish Congregational Church in Andover, Massachusetts. Several parts from older organs were used in the construction: a basement of the 1888 Johnson & Son opus 704, much pipe work from the former organ of the Unitarian Church in Malden, Massachusetts, made in 1858 by an unknown builder, Estey pipe work from the previous organ of the church and old pipes from Rob Scholten's stock. The organ case is old too. It was discovered in the cellars of the Unitarian Church in Hudson, Massachusetts, where the case must have been stored in the 1970s. This case has been made around 1865 and is attributed to John Clisbee.
