Lewis moved the organ to the north transept in 1882. He expanded the old east front with two side towers. The old west front was retained, and now faced Saint George's Chapel. Harrison & Harrison installed a new console in 1911. The organ was rebuilt by Nicholson in 1981. It was connected to the choir organ.
