Built by: Gerhard von Holy (1711)
In 1710/1711 Gerhard von Holy built a new organ for the Barholomeus Church in Dornum. He used several seventeenth-century registers from the previous organ. Over time, the organ has been modified, including the removal of the front pipes in 1917 and the replacement of most of the mixed stops in the nineteenth century. Emil Hammer restored the work in 1937. A more recent restoration was carried out by Jürgen Ahrend in the years 1997-1998. The 1937 pipework made by Hammer was replaced by new material, which gas been manufactured in the same style as Von Holy's work.
