In 1958 Eduard Sebald built an organ for the parish church of Gerolstein. The existing Baroque organ (1747) was sold to Konz-Oberemmel, where the case was set up as Hauptwerk. The Sebald organ was not very good and caused many problems after only a few decades. In the mid-eighties, the Weimbs company supplied a new organ with mechanical slider chests.
