Built by: Jehan de Trèves (1536)
In 1536 Jehan de Trèves built a small organ for the cathedral of Metz, which was hung on the wall of the nave of the cathedral. The organ case is made by Jehan de Verdun. The instrument was modified during the eighteenth century by Legros, Moucherei and Dupont, among others. Marc Garnier reconstructed the organ in 1982, making it probably the same as in 1536.
