- In 1763, Guillaume Robustelly (probably) built a new organ for the castle of the De Bosse family in Chaineux. The instrument was modified in 1807 by Arnold Graindorge, who also modified the facade, after which it was placed in the Église Saint-Etienne in Wandre. It may have been in the Église de la Madeleine in Liège for some time before this.
- The organ has not remained intact over time: Vermeulen changed the disposition in a romantic sense in the years 1886-1894. In 1972 a restoration was carried out by Maurice Delmotte. After the demolition of the old church in Wandre, the organ was sold. It was placed in Villers-le-Temple in 1989 by André Thomas. In 1999 a restoration has been carried out by Dominique Thomas. The state of 1807 has been reconstructed during this restoration. On October 2, 1999, the organ was festively inaugurated. Consultant Luc De Vos played the organ on this occasion.
