- Adelaide's large town hall organ was designed by Robert Pennells and Bruce Buchannan and built by the Walker & Sons firm. The mechanism is entirely mechanical, but the register action is performed with electrical circuits. The organ case was designed by David Graebe. The organ was put into use on March 30, 1990.
- The Town Hall originally housed an instrument by the firm William Hill & Sons from 1877. This organ was converted in 1970 and demolished in 1989. However, it was preserved. A reconstruction was started in 2004.
