On September 10, 2000, the new Fisk organ at Christ Church in Macon, Georgia, was inaugurated. Organist Fletcher Anderson played the new instrument during a festive service, followed by a short demonstration of the organ. In the evening Gerre Hancock, organist of Saint Thomas in New York, played the inaugurational concert with works by Bruhns, Bach, Franck and Sowerby.
