In 1838 kreeg Friedrich Krebaum de opdracht voor de bouw van een nieuw orgel voor de Neustädter Kirche in Eschwege. Hij bouwde het instrument in een voor die tijd moderne neogotische kas. In 1839 is het opgeleverd.
