Built by: Oberlinger Orgelbau (1979)

  • On February 10, 1979, a new organ was inaugurated in the Sankt Lambertuskirche in Erkelenz. The instrument was built by the Oberlinger company. Consultants were Viktor Scholz, Franz Reidt, Hans Hilberath and Heinz Adrian. The front was designed by Wolfgang Oberlinger. The fourth work of the large organ is a Spanisches Werk that does not have its own keyboard. However, it can be linked to manuals II and III and to the pedal. In 2010 it was announced that a very thorough restoration was necessary.
  • The organ is offered for sale then. In January 2012, it was announced that it had been bought for the Église Saint-Nicolas in La-Roche-en-Ardenne in Belgium. It was dedicated here at the end of 2012.
