1992 Maura e Emanuele Cardi  restoration

In 1831 Gaetano Aveta built a new interior in the old organ case of the church of S. Giorgio Martiro in Pianura, Naples. Pipework from the old instrument was also used during construction. The organ was inaugurated on May 31, 1831. Over time, the organ has been overhauled a number of times, including in 1945 by Giuseppe Petillo. During this work, not much was changed to the instrument. In 1962 an electric wind machine was installed. The organ builders Cardi restored the entire instrument in 1992.
