The choir organ of the cathedral in Coutances was built in 1900 by Merklin. It was restored by Alfed Kern in 1982. In 1985 it was bought by the parish and placed as a choir organ in the cathedral. The old choir organ was then transferred to the chapel of the Center d'Accueil Diocésain.
