Built by: Franz Xavier Chrismann (1790)
In 1790 built Franz Xavier Chrismann this organ with parts of the instrument he built in 1766 for the Stiftskirche in Engelszell. From 1857 till 1867 Josef Breinbauer restored and enlarged the organ, at the direction of the organist, the later famous composer Anton Bruckner. The Rückpositif was moved to the space between the two parts of the organ next to the window. In 1980 the firm Rieger restored the organ again, it became new reed stops. In 2016 the Swiss builder Kuhn also restored this interesting organ.
